وقال عبد الحفيظ في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضائية “إم بي سي مصر 2”: “أنا أقول للأهلي ولاعبيه وجهازه الفني: (اللي اتلسع من السوبر الإفريقي ينفخ في الدوري)، هذه نفس الأجواء التي عشناها وقت السوبر الإفريقي، حين دخلنا المباراة بثقة زائدة، لأن الفريق المنافس لم يكن في أفضل حالاته، لكن النتيجة كانت درسًا قاسيًا”.

كما تحدث عن العلاقة العميقة بين قطبي الكرة المصرية، متابعًا: “على مستوى الناديين، كل طرف يُحارب من أجل ناديه، لكن الأهلي والزمالك سيظلان الأساس في كرة القدم الإفريقية والعربية، وليس في مصر فقط. عمق العلاقات بين الناديين كبير جدًا، ويكفي مشهد الدقيقة 20 والدقيقة 72 في المباريات، حيث يُظهر كل جمهور احترامه لتاريخ النادي الآخر”.

A midfielder could come in to replace Thomas Partey, with the Ghanaian's future uncertain. He's entered the final 12 months of his contract at Hale End, and Partey is reported to have held talks over a move to Saudi Arabia.

وواصل: “كرة القدم في أوروبا تعتمد أكثر على الالتحامات، لكن هنا اللعب مفتوح بشكل أكبر والاعتماد كثيرًا على التحركات والتكتيك، هنا في مصر أسلوب اللعب مناسب، تتحرك هنا وهناك، وعلى الجانبين، أعتقد أن هذا فرق كبير”.

وأكد: “ما زلت أقيم في الفندق لكنني وجدت منزلًا وسأنتقل إليه الأسبوع المقبل، القاهرة يعيش فيها ثلاثون مليون شخص، هذا عدد ضخم، نعم أريد زيارة الأماكن السياحية ولكن أعتقد أنني سأحتاج إلى المزيد من الوقت وبعد ذلك سأزورها، ربما عندما تأتي عائلتي ستكون الفرصة أفضل لرؤية هذه الأماكن معهم، عائلتي قالت لي إن القرار قراري، لأنني سأعيش هنا وسأبقى هنا لفترة ولكن في النهاية إنه قراري”.

وأردف: “وسام أبو علي مصاب حاليًّا لكنني أعلم أنه مهاجم جيد جدًّا، وكذلك لدينا في الفريق إمام عاشور إنه جيد جدًّا نحتاج فقط إلى المزيد من الانسجام وسنسجل الكثير من الأهداف، إمام يجيد التحرك وله رؤية جيدة، انسجمنا معًا منذ التمرين الأول، وآمل أن نواصل اللعب بنفس الطريقة وتسجيل الأهداف والحصول على النقاط للفريق، المنافسة حافز بالنسبة إليَّ، كل لاعب يلعب أي مباراة من أجل الفوز لإظهار قدراته والتتويج بالبطولات، لذا في كل مباراة عليك أن تلعب من أجل الفوز”.

وتطرق للحديث عن مشاركة الأهلي في كأس العالم للأندية: “مواجهة إنتر ميامي في مباراة الافتتاح وبرفقة ليونيل ميسي أمر رائع، لطالما رغبت في خوض مثل هذه المباريات، لذا لا أستطيع الانتظار وأتطلع بشغف إلى أن أكون جزءًا منها، أعتقد أنه في كل مباراة لديك فرصة للفوز بغض النظر عن المنافس، عليك فقط أن تبذل قصارى جهدك وتقدم أفضل ما لديك، وأنا أعتقد أن لدينا فرصة كبيرة للمضي قدمًا في البطولة، نفس الشيء بالنسبة إلى دوري أبطال إفريقيا، إنه أمر مذهل للغاية، فلم ألعب مباريات مثل هذه من قبل، لذا سأكون سعيدًا جدًّا بالمشاركة بها”.

وعن أصداء انتقاله إلى الأهلي من خلال حساباته على مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي، قال: “نعم، أشعر بذلك، فالرسائل لا تتوقف على هاتفي، انتقلت من ألف متابع إلى 190 ألفًا، إنه أمر جنوني”.

وتحدث جراديشار عن طقوسه قبل المباراة: “قبل المباريات أذهب لتفقد الملعب ثم أستمع إلى الموسيقى وأستعد للمباراة وأدخل المواجهة بذهن صافٍ، لأظهر لماذا أنا هنا”.

واختتم: “لم أقابل الكثير من الجماهير بعد، لكن في طريقي إلى الفندق يريد الجميع التقاط الصور معي، وعندما أذهب إلى التسوق يطلب الجميع التقاط صورة أيضًا، الجماهير هنا لطيفة جدًّا، لا يفرضون عليك التقاط الصور بل يطلبون ذلك بكل احترام، أعدهم بأنني سأبذل قصارى جهدي في الملعب وفي كل تدريب وفي كل مباراة، وسأظهر أفضل ما لدي لأساعد الفريق على الفوز بالألقاب”.
